2 years and counting

Happy Anniversary to John and Laura. What a fun day that was 2 years ago! How glad we are that Laura joined our family. Just a couple of my favorite pictures of that day. Laura didn't quite know what she was getting into here. They all love her so much now. These two are favorites in the aunt and uncle department. They are always there to lend a hand and they have kept us entertained and laughing! They have made a good match! So, I tried to get an anniversary picture and this is all they gave me. I don't get it! They are both so photogenic--and this is what I get. You gotta love it. Happy day and 3rd year ahead.

Mother's

I just wanted to thank some amazing women in my life. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day and that you were spoiled. I know I was. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being such great mothers to the best grandchildren ever. Thank you for being such great wives. Thank you for being the best daughters and daughters in law that I love like my own. Thanks for being so dedicated in church callings. Thanks for being so talented and creative and so appreciative. Thanks for loving me. You are the very best! You'll notice that most of the pictures are with either your children or someone else's. That is what you do best. You are all so full of love to give. (This is NOT an announcement for Laura. I just didn't have another one that I could find) Sure love you all!

New missionary

We went to Ian's farewell today. He is going to one of the Texas missions--Spanish speaking. He gave a great talk and is very excited to be going. He enters the MTC on Wednesday. We wish him the very best!

Happy Birthday, Allyson

Happy Birthday last week to Allyson! I know she hates, hates, having pictures taken so the ones I have are scarce. And, the ones I have, she is doing what she always does--serving others. Whenever there is a new baby, she always takes a turn trying to settle them down and giving moms a break. We hope you had a wonderful day! Sure thankful you are part of our family!

GRADUATION!!!

Yeah! Johnny is officially a BS of Business! It is an awesome goal, and he did it. We are very proud of him for sticking out the anatomy and O-chem and all the other classes that tested your limits. His one and only sibling that came to sit through the exciting celebration! We missed the rest of you! Thanks also to John and Sarah and their babies for supporting him. Just for the record, John should have the gold colors. He didn't want to spend the extra $14 to get them. John took dad and I out for dinner as a thank you for supporting him. It was great fun to be with them and John and Sarah and their cute kids. Congratulations Johnny!

Springs a coming

Signs of spring are upon us. I love this picture of Christie and Darren's back yard. They are all lined up to see the horses. Darren has been having the kids feed them. Here is their new chicken coop. Darren worked hard on it. And, best news of all, he is getting ready to plant a garden. Tom can't get his car registered with the tinted windows and his luck ran out after 2 years. He got a ticket but was grateful it wasn't impounded. So, he got a "beater" jeep to drive back and forth to work in. But, he doesn't look too disappointed. He has always loved jeeps and the kids aren't too sad about it either!
