Our reunion this year turned out so fun despite all the problem planning it. Kristy found a house for rent in Parawan, just outside of Cedar City and it fit our family pretty well. There was so much to do that I don't think anyone got bored. And, it was pretty relaxing to all be together in the same place. We had lots more time for just visiting than in some of the previous reunions. So, here goes, day 1 happenings:Everyone loved the pool table from young to old and other than when a couple of girls hid the balls, it was busy all the time.
Some of us braved a morning walk. We went out to the highway and then up a trail on our way back. It was fun. Kim always lead the pack with her speed walk
The guys set up the volley ball net and lots of fun doing that
After the walk we hiked up the mountain to see the dead eagle that the boys had found in their exploring. It was pretty gross, but impressive.
Hard to see, but it was huge |
After the hike, the swimming pools were set up |
The yoga girls |
Little Olive entertained everyone with her faces. She did great this trip |
The 4-wheelers and motorcycles were in constant use |
Brendan let the boys bury him |
Laura was good to braid hair again |
The end results |
Of course, the theater room was a favorite |
And, everyone loved the hot tub |
Tom brought a massive slide and the kids had a blast on that |
Such cute bathing beauties! |
Grandpa set up a huge super slip and slide |
And of course, the food was great. We ate and ate and ate. | ...to be continued |

It was such a fun reunion, truly one of my favorites as far as not too stressful and the ability to just spend time visiting with everyone! Wonderful pictures! I'm excited for next year already! Let's get going on the girl trip! :)
That was a good one for sure!
