Kylie's Special Day

One of the highlights of the year was going to Arizona and seeing our little Kylie get baptized. She was so excited and the day was made even more special with all the people that came to support her. She had both sets of grandparents, her Uncle Travis came from Colorado and Aunt Christie and Uncle Darren and family from Utah and many other friends and family members that joined in this special day.
Her daddy was able to baptize and confirm her. It was a pretty special program. Travis gave a great talk on the importance of baptism and her mom sang a medley of primary songs that was beautiful. Her dad gave her a beautiful blessing after the baptism and we got to see a touching DVD of her pictures that her Uncle John had made. There was such a great spirit there.
She has grown up so quickly and is a very beautiful young lady, inside and out.
She loved sharing the day with Lucy and her other cousins. Lucy and Jenna planned and begged that Jenna would get to come also, but it didn't work out. She would have loved to have been there.
After the services, Kim and Daniel had everyone over for a fantastic meal. Kim had loads of food and a great variety. We had to try everything! The rest of the day was spent enjoying each others company, playing games and the children loved the warm weather
The trampoline was a big hit with the sprinklers going full blast.
JD and Addie loved the toys
That night the girls went off to the Woman's broadcast and the guys had charge of the kids. Everyone loved the Jedi helmet or what ever it is.

And getting thrown on the bean bags
And of course, eating all the yummy leftovers from the luncheon
Kylie's 8th birthday started the first of our 6 grandchildren who will be baptized this year, ending with Tyler next year, same time. And, what a special day and memory it was. We were so happy that we could be there to share this day with her and her family. Thanks to Kim and Daniel for having us in your home!
