Belated birthday wishes to our last 3 to finish up the year! Happy Birthday Kim! Is this the real you???? or this.... Seriously, you were the one who kept me guessing as to when you would finally come. And, they say that I am indecisive. We'd start the labor pains and then--just kidding, not ready yet. Then again and ditto till when it finally was the real deal--I was exhausted! I didn't think I could do labor and birth. Lucky for us though that we both gave it the final effort and you came. You have been and continue to be a joy! Happy Birthday, Allison! We feel so very blessed that you joined our family! We couldn't have asked for a better companion for Trav and mother for your little ones. One fault: you won't let me take pictures! Seriously, I have to go back to last year or beyone and you are always in with someone! I am not posting the one from the reunion--you had been swimming--I think it is cute but I don't want an enemy if you don't like it! So watch out if my camera appears a lot from now on! And, Happy birthday, Darren. One thing about Darren--he lets me take pictures and he gives me good shots! Have to love it. We appreciate Darren--he is always there to help! I heard that he even went to Christie's work last week when we had the snow storm and warmed the car and cleaned the snow/ice off before she got off of work. You have to give him the gold star for that! We sure love each of you and pray you have a great year ahead!

Happy Birthday, Jenna!
It seems like I just posted about Jenna and Colton's baptism and here she just turned 9! Truly time is racing by. I have been having so much fun looking at pictures and posting them, that I keep adding more and more. So, here goes. Jenna got to be the first granddaughter--after our string of 6 boys and since we already knew that Colton was a boy, we were very excited when she was born and that she was a she! She came into a family with 2 big brothers that adored her. We didn't get to see much of her the first few years since they lived in Yuma, but we loved it when we did. She loved to wear hats, shoe and well..anything else she could find But she also liked to get dressed up She was pretty happy when her little sister was born! She is such a happy girl and it rubs off on the rest of us. Some of the things Jenna loves are: Dance Dress ups Cousins Going to the canyon Holidays like Halloween and Easter Her family And especially babies. She is always begging to hold one of the new ones we haveJenna is a sweetheart! We sure love our oldest granddaughter. Have a happy 9th year, Jenna Lou!

...and Thursday
I forgot Thursday's bad. Rex, Reed and Allyson's dog they had had for over 4 years got hit by a car. After searching most of the night Wed, they called the pound on Thurs morning and he was there. They didn't tell him that he was injured. They took him to the vet and were told that his leg was broken and possibly his pelvis. For the leg it was going to be $1200. and about the same or more for anything else they found. He was in such pain and it was really heart wrenching for them but they decided to have the vet put him down. So, pretty sad stuff. Little Nicole cried for over an hour. It was hard on all of them. Here is hoping for a better week!

The good, the bad and the ugly
Whew! What a week. It started a week ago Saturday. The good was that we decided to tend all 10 grandchildren while the kids went to their work party. We had done it last year and it was busy, busy, but I kept thinking about my sister, who throws a party for her grandchildren every year. So, she was my inspiration. However, I didn't have all my grandchildren, just a few and they were all the way from 11 to 2. It was fun. We did gingerbread houses, which they loved to decorate and quickly demolish. Isaac's creation Zack getting ready to eat. Lucy's and Joshy's Avery took lots of time to make sure hers was just right Sydney's house and Taylor's Addie and Gracie girl. Little JD just ate the candy. He didn't care about the house's We also did pretzel snowmen, but they were so messy that I did most of them. I think the kids had fun. Grandpa and I did. The bad was that my house is really broke in now. I went downstairs to check on the kids and found a big water spot in the middle of the storage room. After questioning all the kids, I got Bennie down there. He found out that the water line to our humidifier had plugged up and there was water under all the totes, etc and ugly mold along the baseboard. Auughh! Sad, huh? Sunday we had the Lamoreaux Christmas party. It was good to see everyone again and see all my nieces and nephews cute little families. The bad was that between mis-communication and sickness, only Jer & Liz and John & Laura were able to come. Monday we got to go to Justyn's dress rehearsal band concert so that was good. He is getting so good. After we went to wish Jenna a Happy Birthday since we hadn't gotten over there on Sunday and Bren played his guitar for us. That was good. The bad was that we found out that Allyson had broke her foot and sprained her ankle. She missed a step at her neighbors house when she was taking care of their cat. It has been quite an ordeal for her but she said it doesn't hurt too much anymore. Tuesday we had our work party. We were coming home around 10:00. As we turned onto our street there were 7 or 8 deer running across our neighbors lawn onto ours. When they saw our headlights they turned back and ran in their backyard. Awesome sight! Can you believe it was right here???? Wed I came home after work to a black garage! Bennie had left a heater running by the frozen pipe in the garage sink. John came home from work, opened the garage and found the heater on fire! He put it out, but black soot was on everything and the house smelled like smoke. He says this picture doesn't do justice to what he saw. Here it was 5 degrees outside and we had to have doors and windows open. What a mess! Friday we got to tend Nicole and clean up the soot mess. And, Saturday we got to go to a play "The Wedding Singer", which had lots of garbage in it. I don't understand why people think crude jokes are funny. It just wasn't very good. But, that night we got to go to the Tabernacle Choir concert and that was awesome! Talk about another huge contrast! All in all, we feel very fortunate and blessed though. Thinks could be so much worse. And the good is very good!

Twin Sisters!
Happy Birthday Sydney and Taylor! They turned 5 years old! We have so enjoyed them. They were hard to tell apart when they were born Kristy had her system, with toe nail polish and ribbon colors--but I could never remember which was which. It has been so interesting to see the interaction between these two sweethearts--even from the beginning. Kristy soon became a pro and handling 2 Their big brothers were a big help also They looked so beautiful on their blessing day If I had to guess, I think this is Taylor--and this is Sydney--but I wouldn't bet on it! More ingenuous ideas They soon had their dad wrapped around their fingers But they still were their mom's little girls! They had and still have such fun with each other Another guess-- Taylor? and Sydney. More fun With brothers at Easter Growing older Swimming fun Halloween fun. Tay-be--LaLa and Syd Now that they are "older" they are harder to get to pose for pictures! They are very busy! They sure love each other and their brothers and little Gracie. She is such a part of their life that we think sometimes they are triplets. We are so thankful they are kind, smart and loving girls. We sure love our little girls! Happy Birthday, Sydney! Happy Birthday, Taylor
