Happy Birthday Laura

Laura's last birthday without being a mommy! Laura had a busy, fun month traveling so it was hard to get a day to celebrate with her this year. But, I happen to know that she had a great birthday and an exciting and wonderful year ahead of her. She has that glow about her right now! Some of the great things about Laura are that she is adventurous and tries lots of things. (see past posts) This was changing the hair back! (She let me take it--hope she will still be speaking to me) And, she loves babies and children. She is going to be such a great mom! She also loves John and is very good for him. For these qualities and many more, we love her! So Happy Birthday Laura and many more.

TJ--Special Day!

This was a special birthday for TJ! He turned 12 years old so it was a big day and a special year ahead for him. TJ was the first grandchild to be delivered by his Uncle Jim so that was special for all of us. TJ is adventurous and wants to try new things and become good at them. He is into drama and does lots of plays and is also into tennis and is doing really well. He makes and keeps friends easily but has a special friendship with his cousin Isaac. He loves his family and gets to be the good example for them TJ loves to make all sorts of faces for the camera. He keeps us laughing Happy Birthday TJ! We love you!!!! We were so happy we got to go to Colorado over Labor Day weekend because we got to witness TJ being set apart as a Deacon. It was a pretty special day and a pretty special blessing for a pretty special young man. That makes 3 of our grandsons now that hold the Priesthood. Can't believe the years have just flown by. Unfortunately, TJ had had an accident with a wall that morning so he was sporting a bloody lip. It is a memory. Way to go TJ for being such a worthy young man.

Brody

Brody turned 9 years old in August! He is getting big in spirit and body now and can be larger than life! Brody can always melt your heart--he has such a winning way about him. Brody is pretty fun to be around--and funny. He is always coming up with something that can make you laugh--and he doesn't even realize how funny he is. One of my favorite pictures of Brody: Brody has always been so energetic and active. He goes and goes and goes, then he will crash! He is also competitive and loves sports--especially basketball--and loves to win! Brody loves his family a lot and is a good brother and cousin Grandpa says if you let Brody have your camera, you'll end up with a thousand pictures of him. Logan!

Logan turned a big 6 years old the end of August. He had a very fun day! Logan has been such a fun boy. He was a good, good baby but when he got a little older he loved to give a grouchy face. Thank goodness he grew out of that! He is named after one of his dad's favorite basketball players "Stockton" and if it is a result of that or his dad's love of the game, he has loved it as well. The sad thing was when he got his black eye when he was watching the basketball game! Logan loves his family and is good friends with his brother. He also loves his cousins, crazy hair days, snow, anything that goes fast, super hero's, books and school--for now. Have a happy 6th year Logan--we sure love you!

Happy Anniversary!!!

It is impossible for me to catch up! I am now sending congratulations to one of my favorite couples--who celebrated their anniversary last August! After this I have 10 birthdays I want to post on the blog. I think I had better plan better before I start traditions. It is fun though to go back in time and see all the pictures. We have all changed so much. Anyway, happy Anniversary to Kim and Daniel. They got to spend some time together when they came for the reunion and we got better acquainted with their little ones. Little Ben was sick though so he wasn't very happy to have grandma instead of mom and dad. He did bond with grandpa after the first couple of days. We still have lots to work on with that boy. We were happy also that they got to go to Hawaii to further celebrate. We love that you two are who you are and that you are together forever!
